Early morning today, I woke up at 9 and went to the hospital to get an x-ray and take the stitches out. I was a long wait but everything look fine, the scar was a bit irritated but nothing to be too worried about. The doctor said I should walk with the boot for 3 more weeks, and not 4 like a was told before. So that is good news, after I get out off the boot, I will have to go to re-train the foot, but that shouldn´t take too long. So I hope I will be walking on both legs first in July.
We went on a few errands, we first got the supplies for the model house I talked about in my last post (I got a bad ending in Heavy Rain!), then we went to get something to eat, and headed home after that. Even though I only walked through two stores, it is really tiring for my broken leg.
When we got back home, my sister invited me to come visit. Not the one I talked about in What can I do?, but the one that lives in my hometown of Eiði. I said I was willing to give it a try, but didn´t expect to make it up the stairs. I went fine up, it was a bit difficult to get around the corner, but the window that was perfectly placed there, made it possible. We had a great time, she had put some food on the table, and there was desert. But when I was ready to leave, one of my crutches slipped on a cloth. I landed on my broken leg, and it hurt like hell. I don´t think anything happened, the doctor said it is pretty strong, and that I can put some weight on it. But it scared me a bit, so I was to afraid to get down the stairs. We tried for awhile until I just sat down and made a kinda crab-walk down the stairs. A little embarrassing, but it got me down in one piece.
